Dear FriendS and Followers,
It came to this point when managing this place began to take over too much of my time. To be honest editing the posts and photos would take more of my time than writing up. I decided to move on to a new place and from now on you will find me AT THIS ADDRESS
Thank you for your company here and hope to see you soon!

We’ve found some secret places in the area we live – they are the chanterelles places! We love wild mashrooms – picking them is fun and eating them is even more fun! These taste best when fried on butter, just with a pinch of salt and pepper. Tonight we’re going to have them also with a fresh bread which I baked myself

These 3 beauties are on 33% offer from 16 till 19 July. It’s 3 days only! Check them out HERE
The earrings, bangle and the ring are part of my Polish Diamond Collection and feature a unique stone: Banded Flint known also as “Polish Diamond”. It is found only in one place in the world – Krzemionki Opatowskie in Southern Poland. Beautiful natural grey and white earthy stripes are typical for the stone and create different pattern every time the stone is cut and polished. Since the stone is no longer mined it is very rare and seldom used in jewellery.

How beautiful can Scotland be on a sunny and warm day! Especially when the woods are carpeted with bluebells. No more words, just look at this:
Photos were taken in the woods of Dochfour Estate, some 6 miles South-West of Inverness.

As you may have noticed I had beed neglecting my blog recently. To be honest – since the New Year’s started… This is the reason of my absence, the most challenging custom order since the beginning of my jewellery adventure:

It was a very specific and very challenging order: the customer had emailed me…. a youtube link to a song titled “Thousands Little Yellow Flowers” (rough translation from Polish) asking whether I could create something inspired by that song! As you can see almost every word of the title inspired me
There isn’t really “thousands” flowers but they are quite a few of them; they are little and they have the yellow colour. I wanted the piece to be organic and natural – like the real flowers, and also dramatic – like the music of that song is.
I’m really pleased I followed the initial design pretty closely
The flowers were made petal by petal, one by one with yellow Jasper smooth rounds (2mm) and Freshwater Pearls (1mm!!! and 2.5mm) and then oxidised, polished and buffed to shine. The frame was formed separately, waeved and wrapped patiently and only when it was also oxidised I stitched the flowers onto the frame with a thin wire. The droplets in the neckpiece were firstly chosen to be Tanzanite faceted pear briolettes but after I oxidised the piece it was decided to change them for more misterious looking smooth Labradorite teardrops. After all the components were secured, tightly stitched and weaved together I gave the necklace yet another polish and buff for the finishing touch and good shine.
There is a ring and a bangle matching the neckpiece but each piece can be worn on its own
I’m happy. I finished a big order.
The email I mentioned… it has a date of 13 October 2008… pretty long creative process

Want to help kids? Listen to Moray Firth Radio this Saturday and Sunday (7th and 8th March) and take part in the auction!!! This pendant was created especially for the Cash For Kids auction. It features one large natural Baltic Amber nugget wrapped with hand-made Sterling Silver ribbon. The Amber is 4.5cm long (which is almost 2”!).The ribbon was patiently weaved and wrapped with meters of Sterling Silver wire, oxidised to give it more visual depth, then hand polished to shine. The pendant is adorned with 4 little round Smoke Quartzes and hangs on 45cm (17 ¾”) cream organza ribbon with hand-made clasp. Sterling Silver extension chain makes it possible to adjust the length up to 51cm (20”). The pendant comes in a black presentation box. Value – £58

I sat at my work table with the new tools and… my muse suddenly decided to fly to Glasgow! I have no idea why, but all my thoughts concentrated on the little roses designed by Glasgow greatest artist Rennie Mackintosh. I love Art Nouveau and I find his designs very appealing. His House for an Art Lover is full of the roses – you can see them everywhere but they are an ornament which is used in perfect harmony with the design of the house.
I fell in love with the roses and ispired by they simplicity and sweetness of the design I created my own version – two pairs of earrings (third pair is on its way). Heavily oxidised and then polished – with my new Dremel of course
