As I have terrible cold and have stayed at home today I have some time to write here. Today some photos from my Parents arrival on 30 December 2008.
I couldn’t accompany MichalĀ as I had to work that day so he drove Mini The Pepper to pick them up from Glasgow Airport. It was such a beautiful day they chose the longets way home: via Loch Lomond, Glen Coe and The Great Glen. Just 5 1/2 hours
First – they had Rhododendron in blossom (hello! in December???)

Second – they saw a deer, not a very wild one though, they could walk quite close to him:

The more North they drove the more wintery it was… and the more white too:

They brought beautiful weather with them and it was frosty and dry they entire visit – which was 6 days with no rain, yey
I didn’t have to work for few days and we could walk all together. First day we didn’t go far, but far enough to leave the harr covering Inverness. About 10miles South by A9, in Daviot, we turned to the west to Strathnairn and stopped by Loch Ruthven which is a Nature Reserve. It was incredibly white, peaceful and quiet…

We even managed to climb one hill before it was completly dark. The Moon was shining already
